We where formed in 2020 when a parent approached us asking would we form a team as there children werent happy in the club they were currently with. After initially saying No after a week we decided to try and give it a go, initially we started off with 8 senior players and had our base to build on .Although we where still in Covid times we managed training sessions when we could and it was safe to do so, after so many people asking would we form a junior team we decided to start the juniors the following July 2021. The first night of our juniors we had over 35 kids show up unfortunately as all clubs do some decided that it wasnt for them. Since then we have had many ups and downs but we have been lucky enough to continue and rebuild. We currently have around 40 players at the moment and the club is going from strength to strength so much so that in season 23 /24 we where officially accepted into Special Olympics Ireland(Ulster Region) where we competed against teams from all over Ulster.
This year marks our 5th year anniversary and plans are underway to help us celebrate it, being the only disability football team in the borough we are always accepting of new players experienced or not. We are a community club and welcome people from all gender, race and religion and our motto has been and always will be ABILITY NOT DISABILITY
